In the office, Locke was at his workstation, designing the final blueprint for grafting and modifying Emerald Iris Lichen within the Differential Magic Mirror.

Anglu and Aixi exchanged glances. Both of them were somewhat worried about Locke.

Over the past two weeks, Locke had kept to himself, studying the Magic Plant Curse every day. They had both seen it.

So they were both concerned.

It was not as though no First-Class Wizard Apprentice had ever gotten stuck in a rut before and ended up causing problems for themselves.

Sitting at her workstation, Aixi comforted Locke. "Locke, you don't need to put so much pressure on yourself. You've only just advanced to First-Class Wizard Apprentice, so it's perfectly normal for there to be problems you can't solve..."

"Look at Anglu and me. We've already given up these past few days."

"Don't let Kali Ackerman get under your skin."

"They don't even dare touch the Magic Plant Curse themselves. Besides, the Academy seems to be considering sending Mary, a Wizard Seed from Breeding Science, over here to solve the problem with us."

"Once they get here, things will be much easier for us." Aixi smiled. "At the very least, through our team's own efforts, the victims of the Magic Plant Curse have remained safe over these two weeks. Their lives aren't in danger, and the damage hasn't been severe. That's already progress."

"It's also thanks to Ruixing, that outsider apprentice, for letting us experiment on her. Our team has gained quite a bit of experience in this area."

"Come to think of it, we should also thank you for the Lesser Emerald Potion formula you have. That stuff is really useful."

The Lesser Emerald Potion itself had been one of Witch Sophia's brilliant attempts.

It simplified the brewing process of a First
