Locke tried to close the Spell Eye, or Innate Magic Eye, that had appeared on his forehead. He discovered that after closing it, the time he could maintain this bloodline-activation state increased from ten minutes to thirty minutes, consuming a little over sixteen points of mana per minute.

That was only one-third the cost of activating the Innate Magic Eye.

Yet he could retain the Three-Eyed Tiger-Eyed Cat's powerful, unrivaled physical combat ability.

However, to find out exactly how strong his current close-combat ability was, he still needed to find an opponent and test it.

Locke immediately thought of the First-Class Wizard Apprentice Vampire, Howard, whom he had captured.

Locke ended the bloodline-activation state. All the tiger stripes on his body vanished, his body rapidly shrank, and both hands returned to normal human hands.

The Magic Eye mark between his brows also faded on its own. His appearance had barely changed at all.

Locke looked at himself in the mirror. After the bloodline modification, his physique had become even better—extremely well-proportioned and perfect.

Locke picked up a wrench from the workbench and gripped it in one hand. The iron wrench was actually bent out of shape by Locke's bare strength. "The Three-Eyed Tiger-Eyed Cat bloodline has strengthened even my normal physique."

"My strength and defensive ability have both improved tremendously. I'm afraid I can now fight a Troll with nothing but my fists, without using any spells."

"I wonder how my current normal physical abilities compare to the Grand Knights and Legendary Knights from Lorne's homeland?"

Locke thought, "This means my body has been strengthened. Once my body is stronger, I'll be able to take even more potions."
