That afternoon, at the agreed time, Locke received Elagabalus and another Speed Painter in his three-room suite.

Locke looked at Elagabalus and the other First-Class Wizard Apprentice Speed Painter in surprise. "Who's this?"

Elagabalus raised his brows and laughed. "Customer Locke, don't worry. This is Tock Carlisle, my junior."

"The gallery he opened went bankrupt, so now he's drowning in debt. The daily interest on his usury loans is practically equal to his principal."

"So he's completely bankrupt now. You understand..." Elagabalus sighed gloomily. "Any property he has on him would be taken immediately to pay off his debts."

"So he can only work with me. He's my assistant, and with his help, we'll definitely be able to serve you better."
