Locke looked around and spotted an old wizard standing outside the crowd with a box strapped to his back. He wore a green wizard robe, with the Hand of the Jungle emblem pinned to its upper left corner.
A patch of green lotus leaves had been planted atop his bald head, like a rain hat or parasol shielding him from above.
The old man noticed Locke as well.
He immediately walked over. "Hello, you must be Breeder Augustine. I'm Salvador Dali, the Hand of the Jungle's renowned ecological restoration expert. So far, I've never failed in any job I've taken."
He proactively extended his hand to Locke.
Locke froze for a moment before shaking it.
Salvador seemed incredibly enthusiastic. Though he carried a small wooden box on his back, he still chattered away at Locke. "I've seen your achievements. Your Emerald Iris Lichen is truly a revolutionary Apprentice-Level Magic Plant."
"Look, I even recorded it in my notes."
Salvador took out a notebook from his Astral Ring. When he opened it, it was filled with rather abstract line drawings. "The ecology in some regions has been damaged because of special curses. If Emerald Iris Lichen were planted on a large scale, it could solve this problem. And I've discovered that Emerald Iris Lichen has a powerful ability to bind Wind Element Particles. It could even serve as green manure Magic Plant, becoming a source of Aether Elemental Particles."
Salvador seemed to hold Locke's Emerald Iris Lichen in extremely high regard. "So when Christine told me that you would be escorting me this time, my confidence immediately soared."
"A Breeder as outstanding as you must also possess a profound understanding of nature. You must be a wizard of noble character."
Locke could
