Very soon, the members of the Philayde Family stepped onto the Floating Staircase and arrived at a banquet hall at the top of the 20-kilometer level.
The banquet hall, located 20 kilometers above the ground, was magnificent and resplendent. Countless Magic Lamps floated from the ceiling, while several natural phenomena bound by a Weather Wizard's magic rolled across it. There were dark clouds, lightning, rain clouds, clear skies, and hail, all flowing naturally across the ceiling. It was an astonishing sight.
At the same time, Wizard Swords with golden hilts hung from chains descending from the sky. They dangled naturally, like treasured swords swaying down from the heavens, creating a wondrous scene.
The banquet hall had already been completely arranged.
Exquisite food prepared by Seasoners from the Enchantment School was piled together on the banquet's golden tables.
Beautiful Elf maids who were Third-Class Wizard Apprentices wore elegant long dresses as they weaved around the banquet tables, arranging dishes for the Philayde Family's wizards.
There were also dancers from the Shapeshifting School performing enchanting dances at the center of the banquet. Their footwork often reached angles that mortal dancers could never manage, making their movements even more exquisite.
The banquet even had an entire musical ensemble specializing in the Illusion School. This musician family belonged to an affiliated family of the Philayde Family in the Land of Six Towers, and an instrumental ensemble was itself a Wizard organization.
They played dozens of instruments infused with Illusion School spells, with a Formal Wizard conducting the entire orchestra.
The grandeur of the scene left even Locke somewhat stunned.
Such a sight was impossible to see in the Southeastern Corner Region. There, every Formal Wizard was extremely precious. They were either Wizard Academy mentors or independent wizards who personally presided over miniature Wizard organizations.
