Corfu Island, daytime, within Aurelian Academy.

Headmaster Tungus stood in the classroom, looking at the second- and third-generation descendants who were not listening at all, and let out an almost imperceptible sigh.

Since Locke, Patti, and Kode had left Corfu Island for the Wizarding World, and Professor Alder had died from the side effects of the Stone Crab Potion, he had become the only remaining Second-Class Wizard Apprentice on the entire Corfu Continent.

In this low-magic world, where not even a trace of magic could be sensed in the air, Headmaster Tungus felt that his aging had accelerated.

No one could understand him.

There was no one he could confide in.
