Locke prepared a research team, developed the Nine-Headed Snake, and won the Cloud Marsh Cup by protecting the Sureyas Legion from the Mekanians. Afterward he entered the Toxic Valley to study Wizard Basil’s legacy and advance his bloodlines, with Nidhogg hunting him.
- Great Wizard Sura explained the Demonkin threat and the Fated Death spell, then sent Locke and Alicia back while Jell Fisher accepted a prophecy-driven role and Uriel vowed to oppose Sura.
- Locke chose Witch Sophia’s tactical Magic Plant project as his main research direction, completed the Diamond Succulent’s supporting magic with Wizard Takla, and left to meet Alicia.
- Locke confronted Wizard Sfindis over harassment of his researchers, exposed Barnaby Cooper’s theft and vandalism, and helped capture the Black Wizard Jacks before he escaped.
- Locke’s group developed the Nine-Headed Snake, which layered nine Wizards’ Permanent Defense Fields, and Locke began the Feathered Serpent Ancient Pavilion’s potion trials.
- Locke used True Blood and Abyssal Energy to destroy over a hundred Mekanians and joined the Sureyas Legion’s advance under the Nine-Headed Snake’s defenses.
- Locke pursued the Steel Fortress into the Bottomless Pit, where Wizard Eberhard Morrison told him the judges had awarded him the championship as the fortress continued deeper.
- Locke won the Cloud Marsh Cup with the Land of Six Towers team, then combined the Harvest, Withering, and Life Force Fields into a Nature Force Field.
- Locke entered Wizard Basil’s Poison Lake and used a Poison Pearl to endure its toxins as his Orkney Giant Bear Chief, Three-Eyed Tiger-Eyed Cat, and True Dragon Bloodlines rapidly advanced.
