The entire command center suddenly erupted with alarms. Cai Tiantong, seated before the screens and operating a communications headset, wore a solemn expression, but even his face revealed shock.
After all, just yesterday, in Sapporo, Fusang, Crimson Typhoon had only just dealt with the monster Venom after it came ashore.
No one had expected that today, energy fluctuations comparable to those of the wormhole would suddenly appear again—this time in the capital of Fusang.

Stark Pentecost looked at him in confusion, then shouted sternly, "Sir, report what you've discovered."
The harsh voice immediately brought Cai Tiantong back to his senses. He looked helplessly at Stark Pentecost and stammered, "G-General, this time... there are no monster characteristics or level readings."
Stark Pentecost stared at Cai Tiantong in confusion. At the same time, all the staff and officers in the command center also looked at him perplexedly.
"In other words... the unknown creatures on the other side of the wormhole can open wormholes at any location on Earth at will. The Y-50 Transport Aircraft's connecting hoist locks snapped shut. Then they lifted the thousand-ton Crimson Typhoon and turned directly toward Edo.
At that moment, above the capital of Fusang, two or three hundred meters from Yasukuni Shrine, a huge ball of light suddenly flashed into existence. Immediately afterward, it abruptly contracted and vanished.
Someone who was not paying close attention might not even have noticed the strange sight, which lasted less than half a second.
But now, it was impossible for them not to notice.
As the ball of light vanished, a large group of tall creatures wearing heavy armor appeared in midair, along with a six-meter-tall being wielding a massive metal sword that resembled a demon from mythology. Clearly unaccustomed to their surroundings, they blankly plummeted toward the ground.
