To be honest, I've been writing for a year or two. This is my first time writing on Qidian. I'd thought about writing on Qidian before, since I'd heard that Qidian offered authors pretty good protection, at least.
I admit that, because I'd written on other platforms before.
But after coming to Qidian, I was rejected more than a dozen times. Especially the first few times, when I'd prepared everything so carefully. Oh, I got completely numb to it!
Later, I started this book with the mindset of just writing casually. I'd only recently encountered Warhammer, and—wow! I really loved the stories and that spirit in Warhammer.
So I started writing without preparing anything. I just looked through some reference materials and got to work. Who could have expected that I'd end up signing a contract?
Since I'd signed, I had to finish the book anyway. But because I'd originally approached it with such a casual attitude, I hadn't prepared an outline, plot, or anything else.
That's why the Pacific Rim arc turned out so poorly!
But to be honest, I really couldn't think of anything specific to write for the Pacific Rim arc. I could only use it as a place for the protagonist's group to develop!
And when I write about other worlds later on, I won't have the protagonist take part in the main plot. I've learned that lesson before. It was a very painful one, a very painful one!
