520 Apartment.

On the way back, Monica threatened Adam and Phoebe not to tell them about the embarrassing incident.

As for the result...

Of course, everyone knows that.

And so, another round of laughter ensued.

Boys and girls have completely different attitudes.

Chandler and Joey kept mocking Monica for not being able to see that.

Phoebe and Rachel comforted Monica and condemned the scumbag's shameless tactics.

"Adam, can you take a look? Is this spelling okay?"

After running away from her wedding, Rachel first tried to explain to her father, and then to her ex-fiancé, but both attempts failed. Finally, persuaded by Monica and the others, she stayed and prepared to become a well-liked and independent woman.

Then she discovered that everyone except her had a job, and they all needed to work to eat and shop. This made her feel very curious and she wanted to try to find a job to support herself independently.

Because of Adam's existence, her first thought was to learn from Adam and write novels.

It is said that she was a loyal fan of Liu Bei and had read all of Nora Bing's books. When she read Nora's "Pleasure at Midnight," she was determined to become a writer.

However, having been pampered by her doctor father, this thought only flashed through her mind.

Nowadays, driven by the necessities of life, and with the successful example of the well-known author Adam around, finding a job as a coffee shop waiter is simply out of the question.

She's a writer, famous, rich, and influential—no less so than a fashion icon, perfectly befitting her status.

She, Rachel Green, of course wanted to become a world-renowned female writer like her idol, Nora Bean. She wanted to write her own ' Grimm's Fairy Tales,' and the thought of it excited her.

Everything is difficult at the beginning.

She asked Adam for advice.

Adam asked her what kind of novel she planned to write.

After thinking about it, unsurprisingly, she wanted to write the kind of novels she liked to read the most, namely the erotic novels of Nora Bing, a benefactor on Adam's writer's path.

This is absolutely no joke; she genuinely loves these kinds of novels, and Joey even dug one out from under her pillow in the future.

You know, a beauty of her caliber, if she wanted to, would she lack real-world experience?

If someone has plenty of real-world experience and still reads this kind of book, what else could it be but true love?

So Adam told Rachel the essence of writing erotic novels that Nora had summarized.

Rachel was overjoyed and began to work on her art in her apartment.

"So fast?"

Adam took the manuscript, counted the pages—more than a dozen densely packed—and exclaimed in surprise.

Keep in mind, it hasn't even been 24 hours since Rachel had this idea.

Interest truly is the best teacher!

"Rachel wrote a novel?"

Upon hearing this, Monica and the others immediately forgot about the part about being tricked and gathered around to watch it with Adam.

"OMG!"

Monica exclaimed, "Rachel, I remember you said you were going to write your own Grimm's Fairy Tales? Are you sure this is a fairy tale?"

"You read that right."

As Adam looked at Rachel's masterpiece, he explained with a smile, "If you've read the original Grimm's Fairy Tales, you won't be surprised."

"Impossible!"

"How can these be the same?"

Monica and Phoebe exclaimed in disbelief.

Joey was baffled.

Chandler and Ross, who were both college graduates and well-educated, exchanged knowing smiles.

Grimm's Fairy Tales have been revised over time and gradually evolved into the 'fairy tales' we know today. But 'fairy tales' are all lies. The original fairy tales were definitely dark in style, very yellow and violent, just like Rachel's novels, which are all rated 18+.

"How about it?"

Rachel stared nervously at Adam.

All those romantic notions she once had vanished after learning about Adam's views on relationships. Normally, even the most handsome guy with Adam and Joey's views on relationships would deter a large number of girls.

"Well, that's pretty good for a beginner."

Adam thought for a moment and then gave an affirmative answer.

Newcomers need encouragement.

And he wasn't lying. In less than a day, Rachel, who was neither a top student nor a complete novice who had never done any writing work before, actually wrote such a long passage. It was really not easy.

"OMG! Did you guys hear that? Adam said my writing is pretty good!"

Rachel covered her mouth and excitedly looked around at everyone.

"I heard you."

"Rachel, you're amazing!"

"The future famous female writer, Ms. Green Rachel Green!"

Everyone cheered, but Chandler's expression was a little off; it was clear that this reminded him of the famous female writer's mother, whom he both loved and hated.

"But what about it?"

Phoebe broke the silence and looked at Adam.

"But what?"

Rachel was taken aback.

"In general, in this situation, there's praise first, and then a twist."

Phoebe said in a serious tone, "It's like when we break up with a man, we always say first that he's a good person, but we're not a good match."

"..."

Rachel was speechless, because she felt that Phoebe's words made a lot of sense, so she looked at Adam pitifully.

"Phoebe hit the nail on the head regarding the 'friend zone' card."

Adam chuckled and teased her before turning to Rachel and saying thoughtfully, "As a newcomer, you've done quite well, but you do have some shortcomings."

For example, the plot progression is too simplistic and crude, the euphemistic adjectives are too stilted, and it's all based on homophones. In pursuit of homophones, sometimes the words don't even convey the intended meaning, which deviates from the original intent.

"Ah!"

Rachel suddenly realized and exclaimed, "What should I do? I can only think of homophones!"

"You can use more metaphors."

Adam quipped, "I remember you used quite a few metaphors when you explained things to your dad!"

"But my dad can't understand it..."

Rachel blurted out instinctively, then, seeing everyone trying to suppress their laughter, she immediately realized what was happening and stepped forward to start a fight with Adam. Her sweet, coquettish voice sent chills down Adam's spine, and he quickly raised his hands in surrender.

This is yet another place where he doesn't feel comfortable interacting with his American TV show friends.

Too much intimacy and physical contact, especially among young men and women, handsome men and beautiful women, could easily escalate into something more serious if their eyes met but one of them wasn't careful.

"This is no joke."

Adam explained, "These kinds of descriptions, with allusions and metaphors, are more sophisticated than simple puns. They also have a wider range and more options, and are far better than you just using puns without expressing the meaning."

"But I can't think of these things!"

Rachel said, her head aching.

"Then you need to read more, experience life more, think more, and practice writing more."

Adam shrugged and said, "Writing a novel isn't an easy task either."

"I see..."

Rachel looked troubled and somewhat bewildered.

She's the kind of person who would change her major in college just because parking was difficult in her department's building. She always avoids difficulties, so she's not used to this new environment.

She had cut off her credit card after being urged by Ross and Monica, but now it seems she can't achieve instant fame with her novel. It's really tough for her.
