Penny pushed the door open, met Leonard's gaze as he looked over, then looked away and awkwardly changed the subject with everyone else.

Penny felt she had not yet reached the age of desperation, and her dream of becoming a star had not been completely extinguished. She had no intention of settling down with honest Leonard.

Leonard chimed in. "Dr. Adler is pregnant now. He needs to spend more time with her, so he probably won't be coming around much for quite a while."
