Another Overnight Stay
Duncan's Home.
Night falls.
"Welcome, welcome! You must be Heather."
My mom greeted me very warmly.
"Yes, Mrs. Duncan."
Heather was a little nervous.
"Oh, just call me Amy."
Mom sized up Heather, admiring her exaggeratedly good figure, then turned to Adam with a look that said, "So this is the type you like, no wonder you didn't go after Juno."
"Heather, your eyes are so beautiful."
"Thanks."
Heather smiled shyly.
"Oh, Juno ~"
"Hi, Amy."
Mom and Juno hugged each other.
My dad was also urged back by my mom, and he stood aside, responsible for giving a kind smile.
Little Charlie tilted her head back, put her little hand to her mouth, and curiously looked at Heather.
"You must be Charlie."
Heather looked at the exquisitely beautiful little Charlie and leaned down to speak to her.
Charlie rolled her eyes and opened her arms for a hug.
After a moment of surprise, Heather happily reached out and picked Charlie up.
"Big sister, you're so pretty."
Charlie wrapped her arms around Heather's neck, pressed her lips to Heather's ear, and whispered, "You're Adam's girlfriend, aren't you?"
"Yes, Charlie is very pretty too."
Heather hugged Charlie tightly, and her actions and words began to lean closer to Charlie.
"Can you do something about him?"
Charlie laughed.
"Um?"
Heather asked in surprise, "What's wrong with him?"
"I want more beautiful gifts, but he always forgets."
Charlie said slyly, "Big sister, you can definitely help me, right?"
"Certainly."
Heather couldn't help but laugh.
The atmosphere at dinner was quite nice; at least Heather and Juno seemed to be having a good time.
Because his mother kept revealing things about Adam when he was a child.
Okay, actually that was material from the original PJ, but now Adam has to take the blame.
Adam felt a little ashamed, but could only force a smile, occasionally glancing sideways at his father Bob, who was also laughing heartily.
They can laugh all they want, but how can you just laugh along?
These embarrassing things wouldn't happen if you were in the habit of throwing your child!
Unfortunately, Bob only gave Adam an apologetic look, but he was still laughing, and laughing louder and happier than anyone else.
Adam couldn't help but feel a little depressed.
After dinner.
Amy, Heather 'Juno mother, chatted with them for a while longer before reluctantly letting them leave, instructing Adam to escort them.
In the United States, everyone knows the importance of security, because it is really not safe.
Karen's Home.
"Your mother is so kind."
Heather said enviously, "Your father is very kind, and your little sister Charlie is so cute."
Don't be envious.
Juno joked, "You'll have a chance to join too."
Adam glared at Juno.
At this stage, being in a temporary relationship is the limit for him.
God knows what will happen after four years of medical school plus seven years of residency.
Adam didn't want Heather to overthink it.
Juno gave her a disdainful look and scoffed, "Are you coming tonight?"
"I'm not coming!"
Adam understood what she meant and said firmly.
"Then you should go back now."
Juno, however, saw through the facade of Adam's tough exterior at a glance.
"Cough cough."
Adam pulled Heather into the house, saying as they walked, "I'll be back in a bit. I have something to discuss with Heather now."
Juno smiled and said no more.
Half an hour later.
Knock knock!
Just as Adam and Heather were getting into a serious conversation, there was a knock on the door, Juno's teasing voice came from outside.
"Have you reached an agreement? We're going to close the door and go to sleep!"
"Almost there, almost there, just give me another half hour."
Adam said unhappily.
Knock knock!
Knock knock!
Knock knock!
Juno kept banging on the door.
"I was wrong, okay?"
Adam cried out in exasperation.
"Hehe."
Outside the door, Juno chuckled softly and left.
"This is truly Traditional Female Art."
Adam made a comment and then continued to bury himself in his serious conversation with Heather.
In the original timeline, Sheldon wanted to use Positive Reinforcement Method to train Penny, feeding Penny a chocolate when Penny did something he deemed worthy of a reward.
The experiment was very successful, but Leonard saw through it and firmly stopped Sheldon from further his evil experiments of disciplining his girlfriend.
Then, Penny taught Sheldon a lesson using Traditional Female Art: Positive Reinforcement Method is far less effective than Traditional Female Art in discipline.
Juno used a variation of this method, leaving Adam completely helpless.
Of course, no method is invincible.
When this traditional skill encounters Sheldon, it leaves him speechless.
Because Sheldon doesn't buy into that at all.
In the original timeline, Amy Phil Fowler, desperately needing a man, met Sheldon, a truly ascetic and childlike man. They endured immense hardship, like training a hawk, for five or six years before finally embarking on their pilgrimage.
However, this was only the first difficulty on the journey to the West; there were still eighty more difficulties to come.
Because he had no good reason, Sheldon, who had tasted the pleasures of meat and was quite interested in it, still refused to waste his time and energy on such things.
Leonard's father hasn't encountered Beverly's tragedy in seven or eight years. Do you think this is a joke?
Fortunately, Amy is a professional hawk trainer. Oh, as a neurobiologist, she often trains monkeys to smoke, and the monkeys smoke when she makes them smoke.
In addition, Amy had never had any friends when she was a child and was used to being alone, so she had enough patience to raise Sheldon.
Sheldon often treated others like monkeys, but little did he know that one day, without realizing it, he too would be trained like a monkey.
In this respect, Amy is truly Sheldon's soulmate.
Even if Paige is more intellectually compatible with Sheldon, is prettier, and met Sheldon twenty years earlier, Paige might not be a match for Amy in a real competition.
Because both Paige and Sheldon are arrogant, and Paige always manages to outdo Sheldon, Paige enjoys this dominance and shows no intention of holding back.
Thinking about it this way, Paige probably won't be able to cheat on Amy.
In the original timeline, because of Paige's self-destructive behavior, Sheldon did not meet the grown-up Paige, but it wasn't that no woman wanted to pluck the peach that Amy had painstakingly cultivated.
There was a female graduate student who greatly admired Sheldon. Because she excessively restricted Sheldon's lifestyle and wanted Sheldon to devote all his time to scientific research, she took care of all his personal life.
Although Sheldon's research eventually yielded a major breakthrough, the female graduate student who had taken over Sheldon's life was still driven away by Sheldon in tears.
She later earned her doctorate, but she still admired Sheldon. Even knowing that Amy was Sheldon's girlfriend, she still took the initiative and kissed Sheldon.
Then, when Amy met her, she was very grateful to her.
Without her initiative, the relationship agreement Sheldon had made wouldn't have been triggered, prompting Sheldon to take a taxi and a plane to find Amy and propose immediately.
The only people who put immense pressure on Amy were two women.
One is Madame Curie, who, like Amy, was made into Sheldon's computer screensaver. However, Amy was more at ease because Madame Curie was already dead.
The second one is Beverly.
This was purely Amy's luck.
Because Beverly kissed Sheldon hard after getting drunk, and Sheldon didn't respond, he felt it was pointless and gave up.
Otherwise, given the compatibility between Beverly and Sheldon, Amy really wouldn't be up to the task of having Sheldon as Leonard's stepfather.
Adam was lost in these random thoughts and showed no sign of leaving even after half an hour. Juno didn't come over either, so they ended up staying overnight.
