A Smile Growing Increasingly Twisted
Las Vegas.
Small theater.
"Men above and below, Harry."
"Men above and below, Amen."
Helena returned to the stage and began to dance and sing, the lyrics of which were so fresh and unconventional.
However, Adam's attention was focused on the dancers behind him.
These are four men wearing only shorts wrapped in yellow duct tape, yellow duct tape hats, and yellow duct tape boots, with their upper bodies bare.
The one on the far left was jumping around particularly happily, and he kept winking at Adam and the others. Who is Joey, anyway?
Finally, the performance ended.
Adam dragged Joey away from the small theater and pressed him for an answer, "How did you end up here as a backup dancer?"
"Looking for a job."
Joey laughed and said, "During the day I'm a Roman soldier in the Caesars Palace, and at night I come here to dance. Compared to the unchallenging Roman soldiers, dancing here is at least a stage performance, which can enhance my acting skills. What do you think of my performance?"
"Very good."
"Fantastic!"
Juno and Heather chuckled.
Joey pursed her lips and tilted her head, looking increasingly smug.
"The scene was too beautiful for me to bear."
Adam made a sarcastic remark, then got to the point. "You came looking for me on your own initiative?"
"Um."
Joey nodded and said, "When the director and the others left, I needed to find a job, so I looked around here, but it wasn't easy to find a suitable job. Just then, I met Helena, who knew I was looking for a job, so she asked me to be her backup dancer."
"He asked you to be his backup dancer the moment he saw you?"
Adam seemed to be deep in thought.
"Joey, he doesn't have a crush on you, does he?"
Juno joked.
How could that be?
Joey quickly explained, "Helena and Mr. Garibaldi, who plays the piano, are a couple. They are very much in love. Please don't misunderstand."
"What are you thinking about?"
Juno glanced at Adam.
"Nothing."
Adam shook his head. "Joey, I've booked a luxury suite for you. You can move in."
"Real?"
Joey's eyes widened immediately, then he grinned and gave Adam a big hug. "Adam, I knew you were the best to me. A luxury suite, God, this must be a sign that I'm about to become the male lead in a movie."
Well, he's still thinking about his movie lead actor.
For most male leads in movies, being provided with a luxury suite by the production crew is a basic requirement.
"You're not alone."
Adam pushed Joey aside and laughed, "Chandler and the others are here."
"What?"
Joey exclaimed, "You told them?"
"No."
Adam complained, "Susie works in this line of work, she's very well-informed. They already knew when I called. Chandler is very concerned about you and said he wanted to fly over to see you."
Joey pursed her lips and smiled unconsciously.
Clearly, Adam's words had stopped him from being angry with Chandler.
Adam the past, many people paired Joey and Chandler together, and there was clearly some reason for that.
There was indeed a strong BL (Boys' Love) vibe between them...
there.
Chandler and his team's plane finally arrived in Las Vegas.
Just got off the plane.
Ross leaned closer, put his arm around Chandler, and whispered, "You're something else, how did you do that?"
"What?"
Chandler was puzzled.
Stop pretending.
Ross said with a suggestive look, "On the plane, in the restroom, you and Susie went together three times, huh?"
"Hehe, you saw it?"
Chandler nodded, rubbed his hands together, and chuckled.
Since reconciling with Susie and becoming boyfriend and girlfriend, the psychological trauma from that incident with Aurora in public has almost healed.
Moreover, Susie, who spends a lot of time on film sets, seems to particularly like this style.
As for Chandler, being a man, he naturally wouldn't refuse something so exciting.
Now that Ross brought it up, Chandler was quite pleased.
"Of course, I'm not blind."
Ross complained, "You always smell so strong whenever you walk by, and the smell is getting stronger every time!"
Chandler's smile froze upon hearing this.
That sounds so awkward.
Chandler instinctively brought his nose to his chest and under his armpits, but he didn't smell anything.
What kind of taste could it have?
"Alright, you're the one in the middle of it, you've been immersed in that smell for so long, your nose is used to it, how could you possibly smell it?"
Ross was eager to know the secret. "Tell me quickly, how did you get Susie to be so enthusiastic and proactive?"
Just kidding, what man wouldn't want to try something this exciting?
However, persuading your girlfriend to cooperate requires skill.
At the very least, he couldn't get Rachel to cooperate with him.
That's right!
When he first discovered Chandler and Susie's secret on the plane, he secretly invited Rachel to do the same, but Rachel refused, citing fear of being discovered.
"It was Susie who took the initiative."
Chandler smiled reservedly.
Please!
Ross rolled his eyes and said, "Even if she takes the initiative, there has to be a reason, right? She can't just be so proactive for no reason."
"Um."
Seeing Ross glaring at him fiercely, with an expression that said, "If you dare to say it, I'll hit you," Chandler thought for a moment and said uncertainly, "Maybe it's because I mentioned some unpleasant things from the past, and she wanted to comfort and compensate me?"
"You can do that?"
Ross's eyes widened, and he muttered, "But it does seem to make sense."
The tactic of feigning helplessness to seduce someone is nothing new.
Previously, he had only used that on unfamiliar women. For Chandler to use it on his own girlfriend was truly a lucky break!
Wrong!
Perhaps this is the correct way to approach this strategy.
Think about it, how much affection can a complete stranger have for you?
No matter how badly you describe it, the effect will be greatly reduced.
Even if you're not handsome, no matter how badly you're treated, people will just laugh it off; it won't matter at all.
But if it's your girlfriend, you already have feelings for each other. As long as you act miserable and sad enough, your girlfriend will definitely feel sorry for you. If you make some unreasonable requests that are a bit excessive compared to usual, how could your girlfriend bear to refuse?
And yet you can't bear to refuse?
Hehehe!
As Ross thought about this, he stroked his chin and chuckled, as if he had opened the door to a new world.
However, he soon discovered the problem.
His life has been too smooth.
They are loved by their parents, valued by their relatives and friends, and successful in their careers.
His only two setbacks were both in love: one was his ex-wife divorcing him because she was a lesbian, and the other was that he had a crush on Rachel since high school.
But now Rachel is his girlfriend, and everyone 'Sheldon heard about his ex-wife's past to death.
What other sad things could she possibly confide in Rachel?
Damn it!
He thought and thought, but couldn't come up with a single decent tragedy.
Or, how about we bring up the old issue again?
Tell me how he became obsessed with Rachel back then?
Ross racked his brains but couldn't come up with a new story, yet he was eager to test it out.
So he could only put new water in old bottles. He patted his face, forcing himself into a state of sadness, looked at Rachel, and couldn't help but laugh, and the smile gradually became distorted.
