Adam's words plunged Monica into self-doubt.

The following week.

Monica and Peter broke up.

Then it was as if some kind of switch had been turned on.

Since Monica and Max both work here, people like to gather here lately. We can't just sit here and have awkward conversations every day.

Rachel and Ross started arguing as they were talking.

"Okay, waiter, give us each a cold drink."

That's why Rachel had such a big outburst tonight.

It's no wonder Rachel, the Kidney Man Ross, would lash out if he didn't get Rachel for a long time.
