Afternoon, Mr. Fool
Boston.
The scene of the book signing event.
Amy stood not far away, holding her signed new book, seemingly with no intention of leaving.
Adam chose to ignore her and looked at the red-haired Emily.
"Mr. Duncan, hello. My name is Emily. I especially admire your Lord of the Mysteries."
Emily said excitedly.
"Thanks."
Adam sized up his future girlfriend, the most beautiful one he would miss out on because of Rajesh's fuss. Her red hair was her trademark, and she was tall and slender with a looks that were about an 8 out of 10.
She was only seventeen or eighteen years old, young and beautiful.
In his eyes, she was an absolute beauty.
Judging from her attitude, she is clearly his fan.
Emily was outside his principles, and Rajesh had Hulk boxing glove personally signed by Stan Lee.
this...
Adam immediately thought of many entertainment industry veterans, such as Pao Hui, Lao Wang, and Lao Xu.
Sensing that Amy was still watching them, Adam didn't say much to Emily, lest Amy overthink it. He casually wrote his signature and handed it to Emily.
Emily happily accepted it and very politely stepped aside to give the seat to the person behind her.
When he got to the side and opened the title page, his face flushed red and his heart pounded.
"Why are you still here? Where are your friends?"
Emily took a moment to compose herself, then noticed Amy standing there all alone. She walked over and said with a hint of sarcasm.
She had chatted with Amy all night and thought they were friends, but she never expected to be betrayed. Now, seeing Amy's group of friends who cut in line leaving in droves, completely ignoring Amy, she felt both angry and amused.
"They left."
Amy said somewhat dejectedly.
She stayed up all night queuing, not because the group of 'friends' who cut in line asked her to, but because she did it on her own initiative, hoping to attract the attention of her fellow readers.
But as always, Amy beforehand, nobody afterwards.
Are you feeling better?
Seeing this, Emily also stopped her mockery.
"Um?"
Amy was taken aback.
"Yours hoo~"
Emily gestured toward Adam with her lips and said something unusual.
"Much better."
Amy said expressionlessly, "I can't even be friends with the other members of the book club, let alone have any closer contact with Adam Duncan."
"And you?"
Emily hesitated, as if she wanted to say something but then stopped herself.
"You mean impulsive?"
Amy bluntly stated, "I studied biology. Since I know it's a matter of impulse, there are many ways to resolve it. It doesn't necessarily require Adam Duncan. I can..."
"OK, OK!"
Emily quickly raised her hand to interrupt Amy's next explosive remarks, staring at Amy in disbelief. How could Emily say something so seriously? It seemed that Amy was more suited to be a doctor than she was.
Are you leaving?
Where to?
Amy seemed somewhat wooden and stiff.
"Go back to Harvard University."
Emily said speechlessly, "I've already got the autograph, what are you still standing here for? You can't possibly be waiting for Adam, can you?"
At this point, she couldn't help but retort, "Didn't you say you had many ways to do things without Adam?"
"You're right."
Amy's eyes flickered behind her glasses, and she nodded seriously.
As for what is right, she didn't say.
"..."
Emily felt really tired talking to her. Thinking about Amy's strange behavior, although she forgave her, she was too lazy to sort out their relationship again.
"You continue, I'm leaving now."
Without waiting for Amy to ask what to continue, Emily happily walked away, clutching the new book Adam had specially signed for her.
Although I encountered the disgusting situation of Amy's friend cutting in line, staying up all night to queue for my idol's autograph session was absolutely worth it, and well worth it.
What a beautiful day!
The book signing lasted until noon. Even Adam, with his stamina, was starting to feel the strain on his arms. Fortunately, the organizers at Random House were experienced and stopped the queue an hour early, which allowed Adam to finally finish the signing.
"Call."
What made him even more relieved was that Amy finally left after standing there for half an hour.
Back at Juno and the others' apartment.
Adam lay back on the sofa, rubbing his right hand that had just signed, and said self-deprecatingly, "I used to think I had the true God's Hand, but now it seems I'm just a false God's Hand."
"Then you should relax."
MAX, in his habitually sarcastic and lewd tone. "You won't need to lift a finger tonight~"
"..."
Adam's lips twitched, and he retorted, "Don't even mention giving you one hand; even if I gave you both hands and feet, would you dare answer if I called your name?"
"What's there to be afraid of?"
MAX is not to be outdone.
As the strongest female priestess, she may back down when faced with unavoidable circumstances, but she will never back down verbally.
"Hehe."
Juno watched the two bickering and driving with a smile, her expression saying, "Is that all? Is that all? Don't stop!"
"Dinner's ready."
Karen prepared lunch and called everyone to eat.
Her skills are truly exceptional; clearly, putting in the effort is more important than having talent.
After enjoying a satisfying meal, everyone took a short rest.
Adam and Max had a good discussion about the question, "If I call your name, would you dare to answer?"
Just like the White Jade Pure Bottle in Journey to the West, no matter what you say, as long as you breathe in it, you will be sucked into the White Jade Pure Bottle and turned into thick liquid in a short time...
After lunch break.
Juno looked at Adam with some surprise, because she hadn't heard anything, which was unusual given her understanding of Adam.
Adam winked at her and smiled smugly.
Juno carefully examined Max, and after a moment's thought, immediately understood what had happened.
Adam is still Adam, and his reputation as the American TV series "Ji Xiaolan" is well-deserved.
Harvard University.
With Juno as our guide, the tour was naturally exceptionally pleasant.
The four of them arrived at Harvard Medical School.
It truly lives up to its reputation as a mecca for medical students. It was the weekend, and groups of two or three people were sitting under the shade of the trees, engrossed in reading thick books.
The arrival of the four attracted a lot of attention. Not to mention the two prominent figures, Juno and Karen, Adam's handsomeness and Max's heinous crimes were particularly eye-catching.
"Hi, Juno."
Soon someone waved.
"Hi, Meredith."
Juno smiled and waved. Seeing Adam look over, she whispered, "This is Meredith Grey, the one I told you about. Come on, let's go over and I'll introduce her to you."
Adam nodded, looking at Grey sitting there in the shade of the tree, and thought to himself, she is indeed very charming, no wonder Chandler and Ross are so infatuated.
Moreover, her voice is indeed unique, giving people a strange feeling.
"Let me introduce you."
The four walked up to Grey, Juno took the initiative to introduce them, "Adam, this is Meredith Grey, the most beautiful girl in our Harvard Medical School class of 1995. Meredith, this is Adam Duncan."
Adam and Grey looked at each other for a moment, then shook hands.
"Hello, Miss Grey."
Good afternoon, Mr. Fool.
P. S.: I really didn't mean to pad out the story. The Big Bang Theory is still about ten years away, and at this point in time, Amy and Emily are both at Harvard University, so it's a good opportunity for them to meet. I thought I'd insert some scenes from the Big Bang Theory the Big Bang Theory for readers who like it to see. I specifically described some funny moments of Amy, but at this point, it can only be her inner thoughts, and I didn't handle it well, which caused a lot of backlash. I definitely won't write like that next time. Sorry.
