The Plaza Hotel.

The wedding is in progress.

"Oh, I really wish your grandmother could be alive to see this."

Monica's mother sighed softly as she walked the red carpet.

"Grandma is over there."

Monica couldn't help but remind her.

I was talking about my mother.

Monica's mother scoffed, "Not that old woman!"

"..."

Monica was speechless and couldn't help but look at her father.

"This is what a mother-in-law and daughter-in-law relationship is like."

Monica's father winked at her and said slowly.

Congratulations, darling.

Monica's mother kissed her, then left the red carpet and sat down in the guest section.

"We love you."

Monica's father kissed her cheek and left.

It's only now. Three years ago, Monica's parents certainly wouldn't have acted this way; they would probably have made a joke.

for example.

Monica's mother would most likely say, "I never imagined our little darling would get married one day."

Monica's father would most likely agree, "Yes, it's really unexpected. In my memory, she was doing just fine on her own..."

He rattled off a string of 'humorous' remarks to tease Monica.

In recent years, Monica has used her own strength to confront her mother several times, finally turning the situation around and making her parents stop looking down on her as before.

Of course, this also depends on the cooperation of her older Ross.

As the pride of her parents, Ross's performance in recent years has been mediocre, especially with her two whirlwind marriages and divorces, and her dismissal from the Museum of Prehistoric Creatures.

She used to work as an independent contractor for funeral banquets, making a fortune. Although she gave that up, she got a job as a head chef at a high-end restaurant, where she earned a high income, wasn't too busy, and had status.

She later fell in love with and married Chandler, achieving success in both her career and love life, and was incredibly happy.

With the two contrasting views, her parents could no longer praise Ross while belittling her as they used to.

You look beautiful.

Chandler descended from the altar to greet Monica.

Monica smiled happily, then looked at the pastor on the altar. "Pastor John?"

"Adam contacted them in advance; he knew Joey would cause trouble."

Chandler whispered in her ear, "Are you satisfied?"

"Marvelous!"

Monica said, suppressing her excitement.

"Shall we begin the wedding?"

Reverend John laughed.

"OK".

Monica and Chandler walked side by side to the altar and stood facing each other.

"Dear guests..."

Pastor John began the proceedings.

"Those are my lines!"

Just then, Joey rushed in, still wearing his WWII uniform with artificial bloodstains on it.

"Don't cause trouble."

Adam strode over, stopped Joey, and before he could speak, pressed him down into the back row of the guest seats, hissing, "Did you change your clothes? Did you bring your speech? If you have nothing, just watch closely. This is Monica and Chandler's wedding! Not your stage!"

The pain in his shoulder calmed Joey down considerably, and Adam's barrage of questions left him speechless. Seeing Adam glaring at him fiercely, he could only sit there dejectedly.

"Continue."

Seeing that Joey was intimidated, Adam quickly walked back and smiled at Pastor John.

Monica looked at Adam with gratitude.

She was still a little unhappy that Joey had come to officiate her wedding in such a hasty outfit. Although she knew Joey's feelings, the blood-stained WWII uniform didn't match her wedding at all.

"... Monica Geller, do you take this man to be your husband, to love and care for him, to cherish him, to accept him, and to remain faithful to him until the end of your life, in sickness and in health, for better or for worse, for richer or for poorer, for all the better, until the end of your life?"

"Pastor John asked."

"I do."

Monica looked Chandler in the eyes and said solemnly.

"Chandler Bing, do you take this woman to be your wife, to love, care for, respect, accept, and remain faithful to her until the end of your life, in sickness and in health, for better or for worse, for richer or for poorer, for all other reasons?"

Reverend John then looked at Chandler.

"I do."

Chandler looked at Monica and said affectionately.

"Bride, please recite your vows."

"That's what Pastor John said."

Rachel quickly handed the wedding vows card to Monica.

"Chandler, from childhood to adulthood, I have often wondered if I could find my Prince Charming, my soulmate. Two years ago, at another wedding, I sought comfort from a friend, and I found everything I had been searching for."

Monica held the wedding vow card, looking at Chandler with deep affection as she read it, "And now, here we are, facing the future together. I only want to be with you, my Prince Charming, my soulmate, my friend."

Hearing the wedding vows, Adam was filled with emotion.

This once again demonstrates the importance the West places on friendship; the combination of friendship and love creates an even richer and more meaningful bond.

Isn't that what childhood sweethearts are all about?

Are those who pursue the ultimate love, tolerating no other elements, truly happier than this perfect couple in front of us?

Adam didn't think so.

As Shuren Zhou always said, "Don't go too far in anything, or the relationship will inevitably end prematurely."

Don't go to extremes!

"Groom, your vows."

Pastor John reminded him.

Adam quickly handed the wedding vow card to Chandler.

Chandler recited Spider-Man version of a heartfelt confession, and unsurprisingly, it was a huge success; Monica's eyes practically melted with happiness.

In this life, with Adam present, Chandler did not run away from his wedding twice, and Joey did not insist on being the witness and accidentally reveal Chandler's elopement.

Monica's wedding vows naturally didn't end with a sarcastic "unless you don't want to," revealing her displeasure.

At that moment, she truly felt that everything was perfect.

This is the dream wedding she has been looking forward to since she was a child!

Next, we exchanged rings.

Rachel hands Monica the wedding ring, and Monica puts it on Chandler's finger.

Adam handed Chandler the wedding ring, Chandler put the ring on Monica's left ring finger.

"I now declare you officially married."

Reverend John announced loudly, "Groom, you may now kiss your bride."

Chandler and Monica shared a passionate kiss.

Clap clap clap!

Adam was the first to clap.

Everyone joined in the applause.

The music played by the band was changed as needed.

The scene was warm and lively.

Adam subconsciously glanced around the room and saw Rachel and Phoebe staring intently at Chandler and Monica, who were embracing each other, their eyes blurry and seemingly filled with tears.

Most of the women in the guest seats had similar expressions, clearly fantasizing about being Monica.

Barney's summarized strategies are indeed sharp.

Adam quickly looked away. There were many beautiful women around, and many of them were giving him flirtatious glances, but with Nora there, he couldn't make a move.

It wasn't that he wanted to resume his secret relationship with Nora, but rather that he wanted to show Nora basic respect.

It's not like one more night will make a difference.
