"Sheldon, which university are you planning to attend?"

The emotional side Paige possessed as a little girl had mostly been wiped away by Adam. The rationality and indifference of a super genius came back online.

"University?"

Little Sheldon tilted his head and thought for a moment. "I really like the physics program at Caltech. It's among the best in the world. My dad took me there for a visit once, and when I saw their faculty cafeteria, I don't know why, but I had a powerful feeling that I would have many exciting conversations there."

"Pfft!"

Adam immediately burst out laughing.

"What?"

Little Sheldon looked utterly confused.

"Nothing."

Holding back his laughter, Adam said, "For some reason, I think what you said makes perfect sense. I can even picture it: you sitting there, talking away, surrounded by colleagues staring at you wide-eyed, listening so intently that they forget to eat, absentmindedly moving their knives and forks around."

"Mm."

Little Sheldon's imagination far surpassed Adam's. He instantly had an image in mind—no, a high-definition video. He nodded in satisfaction. "Exactly."

"He's making fun of you."

Paige watched coldly from the side and reminded him, "It isn't only scientific giants who make people stare wide-eyed. So do lunatics!"

"Cough, cough."

Adam felt guilty. "Don't joke around. Someone like Sheldon is definitely a scientific giant. What about him looks like a lunatic? By the way, Paige, what university are you planning to attend?"

"I haven't decided yet."

"Don't cry."
