Chapter 725: One King Leading Four Bombs
Medical Center.
Adam was meeting his four interns.
Other than the last one, the other three were familiar faces.
Carter had followed Adam in the ER.
Emmm.
He had once been perceptive and humble, but after not seeing him for over a month, now that he had shed the title of medical student and become an official intern, he seemed a little too high-spirited.
Was that a good thing?
It was not!
Still, Adam believed that after Carter got through his first thirty-six-hour intern shift, he would come down from the clouds of being called Dr. Carter, whether willingly or unwillingly, ever since graduation.
Whether he landed on his feet or his face would depend entirely on his luck.
Adam could understand how Carter felt right now.
Just think of Howard, and it was obvious.
Whenever he went anywhere with his friends, there would first be a round of "Dr. Cooper, Dr. Hofstadter, Dr. Koothrappali," followed by Mr. Wolowitz.
Eventually, it had developed into "Dr. Cooper, Dr. Hofstadter, Dr. Koothrappali, Dr. Fowler, Dr. Rostenkowski," followed by Mr. Wolowitz.
Anyone would have suffered an emotional breakdown inside.
If Howard ever earned a doctorate and reached the same level as his friends and his wife, then after that long string of doctors, there would be a Dr. Wolowitz.
At that point, Howard would definitely go to the International Space Station again.
And this time, he would not need a giant rocket, nor would he scream himself into wetting his pants.
He would truly float into the clouds, break through the atmosphere, and gaze down upon the planet like a miniature Jewish Greek god—Wolowitzeus.
Then, it would be hard to say whether Sheldon, always shouting about "stupid Earthlings," would be crazier, or Wolowitzeus would be crazier.
