True Warriors
Along the way.
The car sped away.
Ever since Adam invited Juno to go hunting, Juno has been very excited and has been coming up with all sorts of ideas.
Hunting is legal in the United States, but there are relatively strict regulations.
First, you need to get a hunting license.
The United States has done a good job of protecting its natural environment, but this has also led to frequent outbreaks of animal infestations that damage the ecosystem.
At this point, the relevant management departments will issue tags (quotas) for these invasive animals based on the results of statistical assessments.
For example, if there are too many deer of a certain species and it is necessary to reduce the population by 1,000, the relevant local government departments will sell 1,000 tag slots.
You have to pay money to buy a certain number of slots to legally hunt a certain number of animals.
Furthermore, there are also requirements for firearms used for hunting.
For example, automatic rifles cannot be used; the Terrifying Erect Ape's rapid-fire shots are unbearable for any animal.
For example, a gun can hold a maximum of three bullets. If it misses, it has to be reloaded, giving the animal a chance to escape.
There are many other scattered regulations.
Of course, very few people actually follow these rules completely in private.
Adam and Juno agreed that they would go learn how to use a gun as soon as they got home.
Winter break is from December to January, a whole month long. Today is December 6th, and there are still more than two weeks until Christmas, which is perfect for learning to shoot.
As for buying a cabin in the woods and medical equipment, and applying for hunting licenses, those will have to wait until next year.
Next year will be a busy year.
It will also be a fulfilling and interesting year.
Outside Duncan's Home.
Juno put Adam down and left with Karen.
"I'm back!"
Adam pushed open the door and entered.
"My proudest son is back! It's a double celebration!"
Bob, who was in a terrible predicament, happily came up to Adam and gave him a warm hug. Then he whispered in Adam's ear, "Put a good word for me later."
"Then what am I?"
The third brother Gabe, grumbled unhappily.
"You?"
Bob looked at Gabe. Normally, he would have said with a long face, "You're my son," but now he smiled and flattered, "Of course, you're my proud son too."
"I just hope I'm the last son."
Gabe complained to Adam, "Guess if I can grant this wish?"
"A 10% chance!"
The second oldest Teddy, pouted and said, "Originally there was a 50% chance, but look at the four of us: boy, girl, boy, girl. Guess who's more likely to be Duncan No. 5, boy or girl?"
"Oh~"
The third brother Gabe a mournful cry.
"Is Mom pregnant again?"
If Adam still couldn't figure out what had happened by now, he would be incredibly stupid.
Congratulations, you got it right.
The second son, Teddy, scoffed, "And don't worry, not only is Duncan No. 5 coming out, but Duncan No. 6 is also in the works. According to Dad, having four kids makes the house the liveliest. Now that you're going to college, the house is a bit quiet with one less person. Guess who's going to college next year?"
As she said this, she pointed to herself.
"Cough cough."
Bob, the father, was constantly coughing and was extremely embarrassed.
The excuse that Adam was lonely at college and needed to be repaired was just that—an excuse. The real reason was Teddy had seriously warned his parents about four years ago when Charlie was born.
Playing is fine, but you absolutely can't go overboard.
Clearly, Mom and Dad have a great relationship, and before they knew it, they had let their guard down and bravely charged into the realm of a true extreme warrior family.
"It's a triple celebration."
Mom Amy chimed in. "Your grandma invited us to Palm Springs for Christmas this year, aren't you excited?"
Bob's face immediately darkened.
Similar to Little Sheldon's father, Duncan's Home is the same. The mother-in-law gets angrier and angrier the more she looks at her son-in-law, and nothing has changed in more than 20 years of marriage.
It's no wonder Bob's dad is in a bad mood, thinking about spending Christmas with his mother-in-law and her family.
"Yes!"
The third child Gabe, excitedly raised his hand; it's always fun to go out and play.
"This is the only good news!"
Teddy's complexion improved a bit.
"I have good news."
Adam smiled at Teddy.
"What good news? Did you buy us a gift?"
Teddy's eyes lit up.
"No, Mom has an extra set of cosmetics."
Adam retaliated, "Looks like you were right. For you, going to Palm Springs for Christmas is the only good news today."
"I was wrong."
Teddy immediately admitted his mistake without the slightest hesitation.
Just kidding, there's no such thing as saving face between siblings.
Now that Adam is making money from writing books, how could the cosmetics he buys for his mother and sister be of poor quality?
In the United States, many girls, even those in middle school, wear makeup, let alone those nearing high school graduation. And it's not just girls.
Don't you see, Sheldon and Leonard's high-end cosmetics are so coveted that even Penny is drooling over them. Leonard, despite his sycophancy towards Penny, resolutely refused to let Penny use his cosmetics.
The allure of a set of expensive cosmetics is absolutely irresistible.
"Welcome home, bro!"
Teddy quickly stepped forward and gave him a warm hug. He didn't call him by name, but called him "brother" directly. That's how realistic he is.
"Just kidding, how could I possibly leave out my dear sister when it comes to cosmetics?"
Adam was very satisfied with Teddy's attitude of admitting his mistake.
"Let me help you with your luggage!"
Teddy quickly snatched the suitcase from Adam's hand, took out two sets of cosmetics, and began to try them out with his mother Amy, with great enthusiasm.
Where is my gift?
The third brother Gabe, rushed over and screamed when he saw the latest game console, "Wow! That's awesome!"
"Dad, this is the fishing rod I bought for you."
"Charlie, do you see that your brother is unhappy?"
Everyone received a gift, Adam then noticed that his little sister Charlie was silent, so he went over to tease her.
"I'm not happy."
Charlie said bluntly.
"What's wrong?"
Adam, holding the toy he bought for Charlie, squatted down and smiled.
"I don't like younger siblings."
Charlie pointed to her mother Amy's belly.
Adam smiled, knowing that children are all like this, and coaxed, "Does Charlie like herself?"
"Like."
Charlie nodded quickly.
"That's right."
Adam laughed and said, "You can ask your third brother Gabe. When you were born, he didn't like you as his sister either, but now he loves you very much."
So even though you don't like your younger siblings now, once they're born and you see them, you'll like them, just like your third brother Gabe likes you.
Yes, that's right~
Gabe chuckled as he played the game controller.
Everyone stared at him!
"Okay, okay."
Gabe pouted, raised his hands in surrender, put down the game controller, walked over to Charlie, squatted down like Adam, looked at Charlie, and said in a serious tone, "Charlie, I love you~"
Charlie looked left and right, her eyes darting around, and gave a cute smile, but instead of replying with "I love you too," she gave the answer that would silence Ross and Ted, and bring tears to Leonard's eyes.
"Thanks!"
