The refreshing fragrance of tea mingled with the rich aroma of milk. Steam rose in wisps, moistening the air in the living room.

Julie said with a rather proud smile, "This is the milk tea I usually like to drink. I mixed it myself. Have a taste and see how it is."

Linley sensed with his magnetic field that she had no ill intentions, proving that there was nothing wrong with the milk tea. He picked up the white porcelain teacup and took a sip.

Seeing this, Jess took a sip as well. His brows twitched, and he exclaimed in surprise, "Wow, this tastes great!"

He seemed to get more and more hooked the more he drank, and soon the cup was empty. He stared eagerly at the red-hatted dwarf in charge of pouring the tea, but unfortunately, Shefnian paid him no attention at all, making the scene somewhat awkward.

Linley secretly shook his head. The skill involved in making this milk tea was indeed special, and its aftertaste was endless, but it was not to that extent. Jess was simply acting far too obviously.

As Linley savored the rich, mellow fragrance lingering on his tongue, he secretly transmitted a teasing message: "You really like this type of woman?"

Julie did not possess a single trait that matched Linley's aesthetic standards. He simply could not appreciate her.

Jess transmitted a rebuttal: "You don't understand."

Julie looked at Linley and said with a slightly surprised smile, "I originally thought you wouldn't come over so soon."

Linley replied with a calm smile, "I said I didn't expect it myself either. Do you believe me?"

"I do!"

Julie nodded firmly. The last time she had seen Linley, he had still been a Mid-level God, but now her senses told her that he was a High God. She understood the difference between the two very clearly.

The two chatted for a few more moments, while Jess could only sit by the side as a dry, silent spectator, with no chance to interject at all.

Linley finished his cup of milk tea as well and said seriously, "Swear a Fate Rule oath that you haven't concealed anything, held anything back, or misled me regarding the Magic Array's analysis."

Julie readily swore the oath. At a time like this, hesitation would be equivalent to telling the other party that she intended to pull some tricks.

"Starting from where we left off last time..."

Julie took out a Black Notebook on which she had placed a seal, then split off her Life God Avatar and Death Element Divine Avatar to demonstrate on the spot.

She patiently and thoroughly explained her thoughts and process for breaking the seal.

Although there were many parts Linley did not quite understand, he could at least memorize the material by rote. He only needed to copy the answers.

Jess's excited face flushed red as he immersed himself, intoxicated, in the boundless ocean of knowledge contained within the Magic Array.

At the end, Julie warned Linley, "Of course, with your current strength, you definitely can't break it. You must possess strength no weaker than the master who originally set up the Magic Array."

She was naturally referring to the Life God Avatar and Death Element Divine Avatar, not the strongest Lightning Element Divine Avatar.

Linley smiled faintly and said, "I know. Thank you very much."

Julie laughed readily. "There's no need to thank me. It was merely a fair trade. Now, just come with me to complete the formalities."

Linley nodded and went with Jess and Julie to Demon Castle. After confirming that the posted mission had been completed, he paid her a reward of ten billion Ink Stones on the spot.

Julie left completely satisfied. Seeing this, Jess gritted his teeth and chased after her.

Out of curiosity, Linley stopped on the street outside Demon Castle and watched for a while. Soon, he saw Jess return with his head lowered and a dejected expression, looking as though he had suffered a devastating blow.

He walked over, preparing to say something.

"Give..."

"Don't say anything. Don't comfort me!"

Jess cut Linley off, his face filled with determination.

"Julie said that a weakling who isn't even a Demon has no right to pursue her, so I'm going to work hard and strive to become a Five-star Demon!"

Linley blinked. His expression remained calm as he said unhurriedly, "I was trying to persuade you to give up."

Jess was utterly distraught.

Linley could not be bothered with however desperately Jess wanted to work hard. After returning home, he took out Camilla's Black Notebook.

The Life God Avatar and Death Element Divine Avatar each sent a strand of divine power fused with the magnetic field into it, circulating it along the seal-breaking route Julie had provided. Gradually, red blood-colored light emerged and flickered faintly.

The seal was weakening bit by bit!

Seeing this, Linley said in delight, "It really works!"

Once Mid-level God Power was fused with the magnetic field, its quality could be amplified tenfold, making it equivalent to High God Power. This allowed him to unlock Camilla's sealing Magic Array ahead of time, retrieve the Space Ring hidden inside, and see what she had concealed so carefully.

The red light flowed slowly like water, outlining one obscure and complicated pattern after another. Gradually, a Shore Flower appeared.

"Buzz..."

The instant the seal was removed, the red light shimmering across the surface of the Black Notebook rapidly faded.

"That really wasn't easy!"

Linley could not help sighing. This was similar to arranging a Go board. If he had not been able to copy the solution and known the route for breaking the seal, it would have been extremely difficult for him to succeed even if he had pondered it for billions of years. Talent in Magic Arrays was simply too torturous.

He opened the Black Notebook and found an ordinary-looking Space Ring hidden in the gap between its pages. Linley pinched it between his fingers and smiled. "Something worth ten billion Ink Stones. Let's see whether you're really worth that much."

There might be something good inside, or there might be nothing at all. Who could guarantee that this was not some sort of prank by Camilla?

Linley shook his head and stopped thinking about it. He directly refined it with his blood. This went smoothly. Then, full of curiosity, he extended his Spiritual Sense inside.

"Hmm..."

Linley's expression became strange. To his surprise, the Space Ring was empty except for one thing.

A black, square box.

With a thought, Linley took out the box and casually weighed it in his hand. It felt extremely light. After sensing it with his magnetic field and carefully confirming that there was no problem, he finally opened it nonchalantly.

A dazzling crystal glimmering with black radiance gave off an immense and majestic aura of the Death Rule.

In that fleeting instant, Linley's pupils abruptly contracted. Almost instinctively, he shut the box at the fastest possible speed and put it back into the Space Ring.

"Thump... thump..."

Linley's heart pounded violently, as though it might leap from his chest. His blood boiled throughout his body, his mouth went dry, and his cheeks grew hot.

At that moment, he had only one thought in his mind: those ten billion Ink Stones had been worth every damn bit of it!

Even if it had been a hundred billion, a trillion, ten trillion, or a hundred trillion... even if all the Ink Stones in the entirety of Hell had been added together, he still would have profited countless times over!

It took quite a while before Linley slowly regained his composure, but his heart was still screaming and roaring wildly.

His original plan had been to fuse the five Mysteries of the Lightning Element, then seek out powerful figures such as Hell's Asuras and Purgatory Commanders to fight, confirming whether his strength was comparable to a Paragon. After that, he would pledge allegiance to a certain Overgod and participate in the Faith War over the Material Plane, seeking only that minuscule chance of becoming an Overgod's envoy.

This was already the only option left to him. But now, all those plans could be discarded!

Linley thought to himself, From now on, the Sanctuary True Body will cultivate together with the Death Element Divine Avatar!

As the saying went, plans could never keep up with changes. But to him, this was an enormous opportunity. The Lightning Element Law could wait. All his energy and resources had to be prioritized for the Death Element Divine Avatar!

"Why didn't Camilla refine the Sovereign Spark..."

Linley pondered this inwardly, faintly guessing the truth.
