"Almost there."
The air inside White Cavern grew increasingly scorching as the two advanced.
Yu Zhiwen followed curiously behind Xu Xiaoshou.
Even though she had no idea what exactly lay at their destination, merely watching the temperature climb told her there had to be treasure ahead.
And not just any treasure—it was an extraordinary fire-element treasure, perhaps one that would stir even her heart.

"Did he obtain a White Cavern treasure map?"
Yu Zhiwen recalled how, after Xu Xiaoshou had emerged from seclusion, he had said, "Little Fish, we're rich." Could it be that he truly possessed some special method and had cracked something akin to a "White Cavern treasure map"?
"Someone's here."
Just as she was pondering this, Xu Xiaoshou, who had been walking ahead, abruptly stopped. With practiced ease, he reached back and planted a hand on the head of the distracted person behind him.
Yu Zhiwen: "..."
She awkwardly pulled back her foot, took a step back, and crouched down. Her puzzled gaze rested on the young man before her, as though wondering whether he had eyes in the back of his head.
Xu Xiaoshou shook his head with a sigh.
"Why is it that all you people walking behind me always love to space out?"
"This is White Cavern. One moment of carelessness could get you killed!"
