Chapter Summaries

Shade confronted the twin princes, who had used time magic to grow into adult bodies, and persuaded them to surrender their power. The World Tree began stripping away their power, leaving Shade to resolve the princes’ fate and face the warning that others also knew the future.

• Shade separated the princes with Great Sin Chains, chased them onto a rooftop, and defeated them after they transformed into red-haired youths wielding Spiritual Weapons.
• Shade restrained the princes and let Galina and Leisha enter after the Time Stop ended.
• Leisha explained the diviner’s three options for taking the princes’ power, and she and Galina urged them to surrender it and live as ordinary people.
