Shade asked about Sir Prisha because he had no means of completely killing this Demon, and there was no time to arrange a Sealing Ritual. He could only wait for the Doctor to arrive as quickly as possible.
In the music hall beyond the wall, the performance continued. Moonlight illuminated the wall, and the Night Watchman's Sword nailed to it gleamed brilliantly.
The Demon was still howling and groaning. That sword affected it far more than usual:
"I told him what a Chosen One truly was. I stirred his desire. Even though he did not agree to let me possess him, I still gained power because of it."
"So you already knew. What did you know about his past?"
Shade continued asking. Though the Demon was still shrieking, a strange smile appeared on its face:
"To obtain some precious books, he killed someone. To learn the secrets of the past, he murdered his closest friend."
Shade frowned slightly. He still had to judge for himself whether the Demon's information could be trusted. Just as he was about to say something, he suddenly felt the chain in his hand go slack.
Amid a scream that nearly tore his eardrums apart, he watched in astonishment as the Demon nailed to the wall forcibly discarded the part of its main body pierced by the Night Watchman and escaped the sword's influence.
The Great Sin Chains had been forcibly broken free of for the first time. The howling Demon viciously delivered one final warning:
"If the chains of great sin had one more sin upon them, I fear I truly would not have been able to leave. What a pity, Demon Hunters of the Sixth Epoch. You damned people still haunt me like ghosts, even across such an absurdly long span of time. But
