There really was a manor on Lake Heart Island in the central lake of the Pantanal Great Swamp. Strangely enough, the only relatively intact buildings on the island were that manor and the Old Lighthouse in the northeast. Thinking back on it now, it was quite strange. Yet the damage to that manor had been almost negligible.

People's attention, however, had been focused on the evil and the aftermath of the battle. No one had paid much attention to the manor that had been on the island all along.

"Were the letters between Thomas Granger and the Farmer Family also on that island deep within the Great Swamp?"

He asked quietly. Mr. Granjay shook his head slightly.

"I don't know that. But no one found those letters anywhere else. In the blink of an eye, nearly a hundred years have passed. Sometimes, one truly feels like lamenting the passage of time."

He looked at Prince William dancing amid the crowd. The prince was two years older than Margaret, yet still unmarried. He was considered Kasonlik's most eligible bachelor.

"I can still talk to you about these things now. But after a few more decades, a few more centuries, who will still remember these names and stories?"

He tipped back his head and drained his red
