The black mud spraying from the "fountain" splattered over Red Butterflies and the stone man. The black mud flowing beneath their feet, carrying Earth Curse and malice, had already covered the area where they fought. Above the mud, Red Butterflies seemed to fade, losing its originally vivid color, but the illusion still worked.
Those outside the black mud could only see countless crimson points of light dancing within the silver mist. But in the eyes of the Gray Stone Giant, Shade emerged from within that silver mist. Shielded by the double illusion, he wielded the Holy Silver Moonbeam Greatsword and slashed at the giant's arm, only for the greatsword to be forcibly shattered by its right arm.
"Chaotic Time Blade!"
Three identical greatswords chopped down from the void in the next instant. One was still shattered by the stone arm, while the other two struck the stone man's body, leaving only shallow marks on its surface.
"That hard?"
An arm carrying tremendous force swung at Shade's head, but upon impact, it was still only a swarm of Red Butterflies scattering through the silver mist.
Pitch-black Great Sin Chains shot out from the illusory silver mist like long snakes, coiling around the stone man's right arm. But the Gray Stone Giant gave a fierce tug and instead dragged Shade out of the mist.
"I knew you were strong, but isn't this a little too much? Red Dragon Force!"
This time, Shade neither dodged nor evaded. As faint spirit light enveloped his body, he threw a punch with extreme strength. The Gray Stone Giant threw its own punch as well. With a heavy muffled boom in the next second, Shade was sent flying backward, but the Gray Stone Giant was forced to take two steps back as well.
