Background
Mia Goode originally hired Detective Sparrow Hamilton to find her missing cat. After moving to her family’s East Coast estate, Goode could not return to Tobesk or safely transport Mia, so she asked Shade Hamilton—Sparrow’s successor—to continue caring for her 27 59.
Shade initially considered Mia an unusually clever but ordinary orange cat. Even after she absorbed divinity, she showed no immediately measurable supernatural change 289. Her actions during the Darkness Box incident, including stealing the Fish Training Ring, led Shade to suspect that she had absorbed some of his power 539.
Mia’s hidden nature became increasingly apparent through repeated supernatural encounters. She frightened a resurrected wolf with a single meow and drove the God of Vampires’ Saint into a panicked retreat 809 930. Her Sun Child bloodline later awakened while she searched for Shade in the Midnight Art Gallery, enabling her to glow and dispel hostile illusions 1348 1349.
Mia Goode ultimately agreed that Mia should remain with Shade, as Goode could not properly care for her while managing dangerous matters beneath her ancestral home 2553 3198.

Personality
Mia is affectionate, possessive, and strongly attached to Shade. She waits for him, becomes depressed during extended separations, and remained beside his bed for two weeks while he was seriously weakened 1419 1541. She also patrols the house at night and sleeps close to him 2183.
Despite frequently behaving lazy, timid, or stubborn, Mia protects people she recognizes as part of her circle. She confronted the God of Vampires while afraid, guarded the Red Butterfly Twins under Shade’s instruction, protected Angelina in a lethal dream, and attacked a larger unfamiliar cat that approached Shade 809 1964 2524.

- Glows with soft yellow light, which can dispel darkness-born illusions and guide allies safely through them 1348.

- Receives a situational bonus through the trait I Love My Home when acting at 6 Saint Derain Square 992.
Equipment / Items
- Fish Training Ring — Stolen during the Darkness Box incident and worn on her tail; its speech-related effect does not function on a cat 536 539.

- Other Relic rings — Mia has been allowed to play with and wear multiple rings, reaching eight on her tail at one point 1053 2844.
- Armor of Light Lion — Resonated with Mia during the Battle of Moon Bay and enabled her Golden Big Cat transformation 2497.

Story Role / Major Arcs

Emergence of Hidden Power

Sun Child Awakening

Cat Girl Transformation
During the Red Ocean crisis, Mia assumes her third known form—a humanoid cat girl—to protect Shade and his allies. Subsequent attempts to study or reproduce the transformation fail, leaving its trigger and limits unresolved 4327 4330.
