After Luvia went to the Seer Association to confirm it, Shade's guess was ultimately proven correct. However, the Canon of Sublimation was the most secret knowledge of Ring Arcanist organizations. The Seer Association had not yet negotiated terms with the Order of the Forgotten, and they often forgot about the matter.
But with Shade's connections, Luvia did not need to wait for the Seer Association's negotiations. To remain in Randall River Valley City for a while longer, she did not tell the Association that she had already established contact with the Cult. Instead, that morning, she went with Shade to the Wilde Opera House again and met Miss Benanis and Miss Lathers.
Compared to how she had nearly broken down emotionally the previous night, Miss Lathers was clearly back to normal that morning. She even apologized to and thanked Shade somewhat awkwardly. Shade naturally knew what she was thanking him for, but she did not voice the reason for her apology. Shade instead felt that he should have been the one apologizing.
The four of them sat down in the finished office on the Opera House's top floor. Since the Opera House required strict soundproofing, this office reserved exclusively for Miss Benanis, the "Golden Dawn troupe leader's Office," had remarkably good insulation.
The maids brought black tea, fruit, and pastries before temporarily leaving, leaving only the four of them to talk.

Shade had only mentioned the matter when Miss Lathers understood:
"No problem, feel free to read the Canon of Sublimation as you please. Will you be reading it directly, or going through the Seer Association?"
"Directly. Continue the negotiations with the Association. Luvia needs a reason to stay
