"Mr. Evans, you will seal off the entire building. Do not let the sounds or light of the battle affect any area beyond this street, and deal with any possible attacks from outside. Professor Danist, Ms. Michelle, and I will enter from the first floor and take the stairs to the third floor. Professor Stewart, five minutes after we enter, please break directly through the roof and enter the third room on the east side."
The four Thirteenth Ring Warlocks nodded. The others from The Church and the Academy stood guard farther out. Miss Danist was still worried about Shade. Rather than having him leave the street outright, she told him to stay with Professor Mason and Professor Lemar and not wander off.
And so, as Mr. Granjay pushed open the tightly shut main doors of the Stone Masons Association, the operation officially began. After the three entered, elderly Chris Evans, the Illusion Master of the Creation Church, reached out and pressed a hand against the metal doors as they closed again. Then, like a soap bubble, a transparent film that seemed to shimmer with seven-colored light beneath the faint sunlight completely enveloped the massive stone building.
This level of illusion, which could be called truly supreme, was nowhere near comparable to Shade's Red Butterfly Illusion or Moon Shadow Illusion. Even Shade, standing so close, could not see in the slightest what was happening inside the "soap bubble."
Professor Stewart of Serkses Higher Medical Academy carefully calculated the time and arrived early at the rooftop of the chamber of commerce opposite the Stone Masons Association. When the time was right, he flew through the air toward the association, passed through the soap bubble, and entered the building from the roof as though plunging into water.
