Because the abandoned manor outside the city was quite far away, even with Space Movement, it was already noon by the time Shade returned home.
He calculated that the "Holy Grail," "Crown," "Philosopher's Stone," and "heart" had all been perfectly prepared. Only the "Fountain of Endless Wine" had been dealt with rather reluctantly. After all, although the God of Wine Bottle relic could pour forth endless fine wine, it was not a fountain.
So, while heading out for lunch, Shade took Mia and went to Old John's pawnshop again.
Old John was surprised by Shade's second appearance that day, but when he heard that Shade was looking for a nozzle "that could spray the liquid in a wine bottle like a fountain," he gave Shade another strange look:
"You must have some young ladies you're especially close to, right?"
"Of course. Why ask?"
"Have you never seen the pressurized nozzles on young ladies' perfume bottles? Or liquid spray nozzles, rather. A purely mechanical structure that changes pressure to spray liquid out under pressure. The nozzle structure of the City Municipal Fire Department's Steam Pressurized Water Guns is similar."
Old John shook his head.
"Detective, Detective. Even though we're Ring Arcanists, we can't forget the era we live in. Don't always seek to solve everything with supernatural power."
"What I need isn't that kind. It has to continuously spray liquid, and it's for use on a relic."
Shade briefly described his wine bottle. Unexpectedly, Old John had actually heard of that relic.
"That thing is in your hands?"
His eyes widened, as though he had suddenly learned that Shade was a God Summoner.
"Even if you asked ten thousand pounds for it, someone would be willing to buy that famous relic."
