In the glow of the Silver Moon, without needing Sister Devlin to remind her, Grace took Helen's hand on her own initiative.

As the sisters embraced, each resting her chin on the other's shoulder, their bodies gradually became transparent beneath the starry river. Great swarms of Red Butterflies flew from their bodies, scattering crimson specks of light as they flew into the glowing ritual.

The originally translucent red butterflies, after scattering across the ritual ground, were unexpectedly tinged with faint, beautiful silver arcs of light. As for the two butterflies that were Helen and Grace's main body, they had already entered Shade's body, then flew alongside one another toward the depths of his Dream.

Shade sensed someone invading his Dream. Since he already knew the steps of Sister Devlin's ritual, he did not stop that strange power.

Very soon, the two fluttering butterflies appeared on the wilderness ridge beneath that enormous silver moon disk. This was also the first time the Red Butterfly Young Ladies had seen Shade's peculiar Dream. The moonlight in the Dream seemed to possess some wondrous power. Before they could guide Shade to touch the deeper layers of the Dream, the moonlight had already "assimilated" them.

The red twin butterflies grew paler and paler beneath the moonlight until they were nearly completely transparent. Yet the transparent butterflies then seemed to absorb the color of the moonlight, becoming translucent silver twin butterflies that danced around Shade.

Shade watched them as they flew toward the enormous Moon high in the sky. At that moment, he too seemed to follow Helen and Grace little by little toward the Silver Moon, until even his originally lucid consciousness within the dream became blurred.
