The water was green, the rainy sky black, and the fog as thick as during a spatial disturbance in the normal world. From the very beginning, the oppressive, terrifying atmosphere told the Outlander that this dream was anything but ordinary.

Megan was nowhere beside him, nor was Audrey. Only Shade stood up alone from the dock.

"Am I in a dream now?"

Yes. This is their dream. You have not entered Another Island.

"That's good."

Though Shade knew nothing about dream-related abilities, he had discussed them with the Doctor and knew that dreams reflected the state of one's mind and soul. What he saw now was enough to show just how much pressure Megan and Audrey had been under.

They probably had not relaxed for a single day since coming into contact with the Bloodline Prophecy.

Shade took a deep breath and looked at his hands again. This was not the Deep Dream, so God's Radiance had not appeared. He lightly twitched his little finger twice, and a golden thread emerged from the air. Before entering the dream, the two of them had considered the possibility of being separated, so the current situation was not entirely unexpected.

"Let's see what kind of dream Megan and Audrey have constructed."

The golden thread pointed toward the Path in the Woods. After following the pitch-black path into the town, which became increasingly bizarre within the dream, the thread continued south, guiding Shade toward Edwards Mansion atop the hill.

Other than being gloomy and frightening, the dream island was not very different from the island in the Reality World, so there was no need to worry about getting lost. After successfully arriving at the locked mansion, Shade lightly tapped the gate's lock, but nothing happened.
