The night was still not over. Shade and Megan suddenly appeared in the reed beds by Green Lake. They quickly looked around and only breathed a sigh of relief after confirming that there were no Church members nearby.

Megan did not let go of Shade's hand. Instead, she hugged him tightly. The two stood silently embracing in the depths of the reed bed, and only after a long while did Megan finally release him.

She looked into Shade's eyes and took two steps back before turning around. First, she took off her coat. Then, amid rustling sounds, she unbuttoned her white shirt.

"Wait, what are you doing?"
