"Is this god the Dream Giver?"
This Old God was not the "God of Dreams." He was usually called the "God of Wishes," and was one of the relatively less famous Old Gods. Shade knew of Him because the God of Wishes—the Dream Giver, the God of Toys—the Innocent Creator, and the Fairy Tale God—the Fairy Tale Poet, were all known as the "Guardians of Children."
None of those three were particularly famous, and information about them passed down into the Sixth Epoch was pitifully scarce. Shade's relationship with the Innocent Creator went without saying, so he knew that this lesser-known deity was also connected to protecting children. Still, he knew very little specific information:
"At least He is a Good God."
As for the two thaumaturgies bestowed by the Tree Father, the former corresponded to the First Ring Miracle—Echo Spirit Rune. This Spirit Rune had come from the earliest Hope Town mission. The latter corresponded to the Seventh Ring Enlightenment-Flesh Spirit Rune, which Shade had comprehended after copying the Edwards Apotheosis Art.
The two thaumaturgies had not yet arrived, so he naturally had no idea what they did. Thus, although "Dragon Roar" sounded intimidating, there was no need to dwell on it now. Shade merely sighed that the Tree Father truly could grant any kind of thaumaturgy, and both thaumaturgies this time seemed to be offensive ones.
"The time is Fifth Epoch 5180. Has it only been three years since I met Miss Violet and Miss Teresa in 5177? It seems I was right to check the key's time in advance. But the major events involving witches that year do not seem to include anything related to a cruise ship."
Unable to figure it out for the moment, and considering that this time involved a shipwreck, Shade first activated
