The Cavendish girls and ladies would not be spending the night at Shade's home tonight. Monday's "birthday party" had been fun, but it had truly frightened them as well. So, after parting with them at the gates of Yodel Palace, Shade took Little Mia back to Saint Derain Square. Before returning home, he first inspected the neighboring house, making sure there was nothing wrong with the room number or the marks on the walls.
"I should warn Dorothy, the Priest, and the Doctor. Dorothy doesn't need it; she already knows. The Priest doesn't need it either; that relic probably wouldn't dare become Dawn Church's neighbor. As for the Doctor..."
Considering the Doctor's bad luck, it was quite necessary to warn him about this Sage Level Relic.
So, if a friendly neighbor appeared next door to our home, what would you do?
As Shade carried Little Mia up the wooden stairs and passed through the dim yet exceptionally reassuring stairwell, "she" asked gently.
"I'll make it regret it."
Shade answered in good spirits. The reason for his good mood was probably that way of referring to it as "our home."

When he woke up, it was already Thursday morning.
Shade had originally planned to begin a new Time Key adventure after breakfast. Having gone a month without using a normal Time Key, he even somewhat missed those Fifth Epoch adventures.
But as he put on his slippers and, urged on by Little Mia, went outside to fetch goat milk from the milk box, he saw Director Anlos walking toward him through the Great Fog of early morning.
To be honest, he had only mentioned it to Miss Galina last night, yet his superior
