But asking around through a locally well-connected Ring Arcanist would indeed be much more convenient than searching on his own.
But the phrase "female diviner" put Shade on alert, so he raised his wineglass and asked:
"Does this Amethyst Lady have any other peculiar habits?"
"She basically does not divine for men. Not never, but rarely. Over the years, I have almost never heard of her choosing a man as a client."
Shade blinked, feeling that he had probably guessed who Moon Bay Area's "Amethyst Lady" really was.
The Bloodkin coroner had lived locally for nearly ten years and knew quite a bit about the local Ring Arcanists.
