The god raised her right hand, and a rainbow-colored bubble slowly appeared. Smiling at it, she watched as even darkness failed to suppress the colors of this strange creation known as "Childhood Dream":
"I once promised that I would give this to you after you found the truth. Now, it is yours."
The bubble slowly flew toward Shade and entered his chest.
After a second's pause, "she" spoke gently:
Newborn children do not know that their innocent childhood is the happiest time of their lives. When they stand at the other end of life and look back upon their beginnings, how many will smile, how many will weep bitterly, and how many will long to return to those bittersweet years with only a few worries? Outlander, you have sensed a "Miracle." Outlander, you have obtained a new blessing—Childhood Dream. When you fall into a dream, the power of beauty and Innocence will help you overcome difficult trials.
Though the blessing was somewhat vague, Shade liked it very much since it was a permanent blessing in a constant state.

He bowed to thank the god, who then pointed at the pitch-black, rolling sea surface:
"Cast your line one final time. The way out lies above. I will use A Ray of Light to guide you. Fly upward and take them to touch that ray."
Shade thanked her again and, pulling Illustrious Miss by the hand, brought her out from behind him.
"God, you saved this newborn child. Would you be willing to let her become your believer?"
The Witches naturally understood what Shade meant. The somewhat confused blue-eyed girl was surprised, but she did not object to his suggestion.
The childlike god continued to smile.
