This meant that from the Gray-headed Eagle's appearance in Moon Bay more than a decade ago until 1850, their meetings had continued without interruption.
Following that line of reasoning, it was highly likely that their scheduled meetings had not stopped before Detective Sparrow met with disaster in 1853.
That meant the other party had most likely already learned that something had gone wrong with the Gray-headed Eagle. A year had passed since Sparrow Hamilton's death, and Shade had not gone to Kalas Mountain to make contact during that time. Of course, it was also possible that they met once every two years.
"So even if I went to Kalas Mountain to lie in wait now, I probably wouldn't be able to wait for that contact."

"If you worked together with Miss Belinder, could you divine it?"
He voiced the idea he had last time, and Luvia raised an eyebrow in surprise:
