Shade nodded and made a note of the request.
"Is there anything else you need me to help with?"
Ms. Meister merely smiled and waved him goodbye, while Ms. Knight curtsied once more. The Mermaid Girls, however, said somewhat embarrassedly:
"Could you bring some seafood next time?"
She glanced at Grandma Sianode, then explained only after seeing that she did not object:
"I'm not being greedy. It's just that Mermaids actually live on seafood, but you know that even if this place has everything else, it definitely won't have seafood."
Fish were the staple food of Mermaids. For a race that lived in the ocean, that was the only kind of meat they came into contact with.
"No problem."
Shade nodded understandingly. He was even thinking that if he met Miss Aurora, he could ask her about the diets and habits of modern Mermaids.
The forty minutes quickly came to an end. Once he had confirmed there was nothing else to discuss, Shade rose to bid them farewell.
With Grandma Sianode here, Shade did not need to worry about anything else happening. Still, he was somewhat concerned about Grandma Sianode herself, who was still wearing that Flower Crown. The old elf seemed to see through his thoughts and said proactively:
"I'm fine now. In a little while, I'll tell them about what happened just now. That terrifying illusion may appear again."
Only then was Shade reassured.
"Though I don't know when I'll appear again, please hold on to hope and wait for me in this desert.
No matter what happens, I will come here again. Just as all of you came here so stubbornly, for various reasons, seeking the Oasis Heart, helping you is something I must do as well."
The four ladies bade Shade farewell once more. He nodded
