"Cough, cough~"
The young man and woman, immersed in their kiss, sprang apart only when they heard the coughing.
Or rather, Shade realized someone had arrived and tried to push Margaret away, but the blonde princess was still reluctant to part with him. Shade could not truly shove her away, so Margaret dawdled for quite a while before climbing down from him.
Just as expected, Miss Danist, Miss Winslet, and Miss Bell had all arrived. The red-haired girl and the black-haired girl stood farther back. The former watched them curiously, while a shy flush had appeared on the latter's usually pale face.
The one who had coughed was clearly the Great Witch standing at the front. Her face was red with anger:
"Margaret, Shade, what are you doing in my room?"
She pointed at Her Royal Highness the Princess:
"Princess Margaret! Miss Anjou! Have you forgotten that you are already a Witch Apprentice?"
Her Royal Highness the Princess sat on the edge of the sofa and wrapped an arm around Shade, who had just sat up:
"But things that witches like Miss Galina can do should be things apprentices can do too."
She appeared somewhat timid, using it to show her respect for the Great Witch:
"Miss Winslet, I dare bet that Miss Galina has done even more excessive things with Shade. She sees Shade every day—I refuse to believe they have only ever kissed."
"That is not something a lady should say, Princess Margaret. Could you let my student get off the sofa first?"
Miss Danist promptly smoothed things over. Only then did Margaret stand and pull Shade to his feet as well. For one moment, Shade thought she might even reach out to straighten his collar, but fortunately Her Royal Highness the Princess did not do so.
"We
