The Outlander had originally been worried that he would not know how to row a boat through the air, but when he stood at the bow and tried to control the little boat, he discovered that it was no more difficult than sailing across water. It merely consumed additional spirit.
Thus, the little boat returned along the same route toward the starry sky, then abruptly entered a thick fog at some point.
Shade and Mr. Nelson successfully returned to Black Sand Dock. Just as the two stepped down from the pier, the stumbling figure of a woman was already walking toward them from the distant beach.
"Is that her?"
The two Witches by the bonfire immediately stood as well, and all four looked toward the figure who had even lost her shoes. When she drew nearer, Mr. Nelson immediately rushed over:
"Melanie!"
The fact that this Lady had appeared at precisely this moment could not possibly be a coincidence. Shade therefore glanced back at the "Boatman" by the dock, then watched Mr. Nelson pull his wife to the bonfire.
Compared to the woman they had seen in the attic a few minutes ago, this Lady had not changed much. It was only that she had been mentally sound before, whereas now she was as crazed as a lunatic.
She struggled against Mr. Nelson's strength, desperately trying to climb onto the dock:
"George, for my own good, please let me leave. Those memories, those experiences, have been tormenting my soul. Even if I die, I will not find peace. Please let me leave by boat, George. If you still love me, please let me leave."
"Can you calm her down?"
Shade asked Ms. Brooke. She reached out and tapped the woman's forehead, and the woman immediately fell unconscious.
