The trunk of that giant tree was thick enough to be considered a building. Its canopy not only covered the clearing overhead, leaving mottled traces of sparse starlight and moonlight across it, but even extended into the forest.

If this place had not been invisible from the air, Shade felt it could have been easily noticed even from dozens of miles away.

Directly before the trunk stood an enormous Giant Wooden Seat. Its base looked like a tree stump, while its backrest resembled a thin, curved layer of bark. On the side of the backrest facing the seat itself were two vertical columns of Ancient Writings.

This was also Shade's first time seeing vertically written text in this world, but when he tried to make out its contents, the writing became blurred and impossible to see clearly.

"Strange."

That enormous Giant Wooden Seat was probably best suited for a giant fifty meters tall. Centered around it, beneath the tree, were four more wooden seats arranged in a fan along the edge of the clearing, positioned on either side of the massive central seat.

Those four wooden seats resembled the largest one in style, only much smaller. But even at that size, they were not chairs for ordinary humans. Someone would need to grow ten meters tall for them to fit properly.

"Look here. These runes are the only ones we can see clearly. Can you translate them?"
