"Emilia will definitely be back this week. There aren't many days left."
Shade rose from his seat at the head of the table:
"I had originally planned to spend a few more days preparing before beginning the hunt for the 'Watcher,' but it seems we can't wait any longer. Vanessa, have you finished drawing the map of the local underground Mithril Mine veins?"
The shortest girl present nodded:
"It's mostly done, but I can't guarantee that it's completely accurate."
She then used an illusion to project a map of Vesta Woodland above the long table, using undulating red lines to mark the locations of the mine veins:
"Shade believes there is some connection between the local Mithril Mine veins and the slumbering Paradox Worms. Over the past few days, I led a team deep into the woods and discovered that the local Mithril reserves are truly astonishing. We all suspect that the Mithril appeared because of the Paradox Worms, rather than the Paradox Worms choosing the Mithril Mine veins.
"Luvia and Bella also performed divinations on this. If we carry out targeted explosions on these mine veins, there is a very high chance of affecting the Paradox Worms' dormancy. We absolutely cannot wake all the worms at once, or things will become troublesome. But as long as we wake only a small portion of them, the Watcher will definitely appear to stop us."
Seeing that Siris seemed to want to pick her up and make her look taller, Vanessa waved her hand to stop Siris again:
"How to blow up those mine veins still requires careful consideration, but the biggest problem now is how to stop a large number of awakened worms."
"That is the Church's responsibility."
Shade continued, and several Red Butterflies flew from his fingertips to land on
