Grandma Cassandra's arrival had been quite unexpected, but everyone welcomed them warmly. Luvia had received them on Shade's behalf earlier, and when she saw him return, she began discussing room arrangements with him.

6 Saint Derain Square clearly could not accommodate so many people, and Grandma Cassandra did not mind staying next door. Although it was not yet Red Butterfly Day, Grace and Helen alone were enough to temporarily create a spatial door connecting both sides of the wall.

After Shade requested that "the door should look as much like a door as possible, rather than some supernatural method," the sisters had him set up mirrors on either side of the wall. They then cast spells on the two mirrors, transforming them into passable doors.

Everyone then went next door to Number 7 to arrange the rooms. Considerate as ever, Grandma Cassandra chose Room Two on the third floor rather than the second floor. It was the farthest room from where Shade was staying, and she wanted to leave the closer rooms for the younger ladies.

The somewhat shy Miss Swift thus stayed with her teacher, too embarrassed to say she wanted to live elsewhere. As for Grace and Helen, the Red Butterfly Young Ladies were not picky about accommodations and chose the side bedroom of Room Two on the third floor.

But for them, having mastered the power of space, where they stayed made little difference.

Galina and Flora had been kept at Yodel Palace by Queen Diana at noon, so they had not returned for lunch. Tifa, whom the Duchess had specifically kept behind, arranged the meal well.
