Shade held his teacup and pondered. His adventures through time had already taken him across the eastern, western, southern, northern, and central main continents of the Fifth Epoch. He had also searched for traces of those adventure companions in the past, and combined with what he had seen during the story of the Space Chosen One, he had reached his own conclusion regarding the Material World as it changed with the epochs:
"In my opinion, the main part of the Old Continent where we now live in the Sixth Epoch is the Central Continent of the Fifth Epoch. And Saint Byron's, which was originally located north of the Everfrost Ice Field on the North Continent during the Fifth Epoch, did indeed become the northern fringe of the Old Continent at the beginning of this epoch. Doctor, your guess was probably correct. At the end of each epoch, only certain regions can remain."
He shook his head.
"We can discuss that later. That isn't today's focus. Let's continue. You said you found a Demon sealed during the Third Epoch? Did you devour it?"
The Doctor shook his head regretfully.
"Unfortunately, although the traces of the seal remain, and the sealing power remains as well, the Demon is gone."
Shade was not surprised. With the Doctor's luck, it would have been surprising if he had succeeded directly.
"I stayed in that ice cave and carefully investigated the remaining traces. I won't go into the process, but in the end, I concluded that the Demon probably broke free early in this epoch, no later than the year 700 of the Sixth Epoch."
