About ten minutes earlier, Kael-Todd Town, Snow Mountain Hall.
It was late at night, and most of the townspeople had already gone to rest. Yet several lamps were still lit in Snow Mountain Hall, including, of course, those in the Unicorn Nest.
Though they had only met once many years ago and had only just become acquainted again, Emilia and the white-haired Miss Larson had already become quite close. The Elf Girl found Miss Larson very interesting, while the white-haired young lady found the elf girl as endearing as a younger sister.
The two waited in the Unicorn Nest for the pair attending the banquet to return. Miss Larson groomed the lazily sprawled Unicorn Ellie while listening to Emilia describe her experiences raising unicorns.
Since the witch had already guessed that Emilia came from Saint Byron's, Emilia did not conceal her true information when speaking of her history with the Unicorn Population.
Thus, Miss Larson was quite envious of this pure-blooded little elf who had grown up alongside unicorns. She had enjoyed a childhood, adolescence, and youth that countless people would envy, and even now that she was grown, she still seemed to live a life most people would envy.
"So, what is your relationship with Mr. Watson?"
When young ladies gathered to chat, such topics were unavoidable. Miss Larson was merely asking out of curiosity, but the blonde, pointy-eared girl sitting on the little stool immediately blushed:
"We're just friends~ Very good friends, the kind with a very, very good relationship. We've danced together, and we've even held hands. Ah!"
She giggled foolishly and covered her flushed face. The unicorn turned its head curiously to look at her. Though Miss Larson had no similar experience, she understood what Emilia meant and realized that her teacher had gained another rival.
