As for this week's task, perhaps because "egg" corresponded to common activities like having children care for and hatch eggs, the task was for Shade to look after small winged creatures. Shade decided to choose unicorns. They needed care as well.

Naturally, Shade had not forgotten to prepare different responses depending on whether the House of Resurrection's hideout was inside or outside the city. He had even proposed how they should retreat if an accident truly occurred and everyone together still could not defeat the enemy.
