"Since she's sleepwalking, if I wake her up, and the demon loses the dream as its living environment, will it appear directly in the Reality World?"
Shade asked, and the Doctor immediately shook his head:
"Waking her won't be that simple. As I said just now, while sleepwalking, what she sees may differ from what is actually happening. Once the demon discovers your intentions, I think there's a high chance that female hunter will fight you."
Shade had no desire whatsoever to fight Miss Coens, but neither would he allow that female hunter to truly become an inn guest.
"Then is there a way to drive the demon away while Miss Coens is asleep?"
The Doctor frowned and thought for a moment:
"Actually, it would be safest for me to handle this personally, but that belongs to the past.
"Driving a demon out of a dream is more troublesome than treating other types of Demon Possessed. The worst approach would be for you to enter the dream and confront the demon there, but it would be on its home field, and you aren't particularly skilled with the power of dreams. So I don't recommend doing that."
The Doctor considered it again:
"Since you won't be setting out until next week anyway, give me a week to think of something."
"Then I'll leave it to you, Doctor. Besides driving out the demon, it would be best if there were a way to restrain it as well. I don't expect us to still find its trail in this era after so long, but at the very least, we can't let it cause trouble for me again in the past."
This mission was to "select suitable guests for the inn," and Shade was almost certain that the "guests" involved were his three companions
