Adele Isabella stood there alone, watching the group leave. Before long, she was the only one left standing on that silver-line-like ridge.
Neither the vast starry sky nor the boundless Snow Mountain could fully describe the loneliness she felt at that moment. She did not know what Shade would think of her appearance this time afterward. She only knew that coming here seemed to have worsened her mood.
She lowered her head again to look at the "Command Card" stuck diagonally in the snow, then gazed at all the treasures scattered across the ridge. After the evil god's gaze vanished, the Four Elements became balanced again, then grew active once more. To the Thirteenth Order Great Witch, the surging Elements Tide resembled a four-colored ocean. She wistfully sensed the strange elemental environment around her, and when she turned her eyes to the starry sky, she began to contemplate time and destiny again.
The small gains from her conversation with Luvia just now flooded back into her mind. Following her current thoughts, she summoned her Destiny Ring and Golden Stairway. The magnificent staircase passed through the center of the rotating Destiny Ring, and Adele Isabella said softly:
"Thaumaturgy—Time Summoning."
The thaumaturgy that should have summoned a remnant image of the past instead produced a blinding light before her. She looked up ahead, immediately narrowed her eyes, and found that not only snowflakes but even yellow sand were rushing toward her lovely face.
A dim yellow light came at her head-on, carrying yellow sand mixed with snow. When that dim yellow glow faded, an entirely new Adele Isabella was already standing before her.
Judging by their faces and figures, the two were almost completely identical. Even the positions of the tear moles at the corners of their eyes were exactly the same.
