The Doppelganger's body was like an ant before that sword light, and the blade effortlessly erased it. Then, amid a thunderous roar, Flesh City was split in two. A massive slash scar stretched across the land of flesh.
Though the blood light of Flesh City itself was similar in color to the lingering Crimson moonlight, no one could mistake one for the other at this moment. Their natures were entirely different.
Dorothy, Owl, and Iluna all flew to Shade's side, only to find that Shade, with his Rose Red Left Eye, had not relaxed.
He stared below and saw the butler-like Doppelganger reappear in the city. Amid wild laughter, it grew larger and larger—larger than the collapsed houses nearby, larger than the apartment buildings standing in the distance, larger than the Clock Tower at the city's edge.
All the blood-red color in the world gathered upon it. The boundaries of Flesh City were even shrinking as it recklessly drew out power.
But when it transformed into a giant standing within the city, it unexpectedly discovered that Shade was no longer in the sky. Looking up again, it saw that the Blood Moon overhead had taken on a strange rose red hue.
Then it understood. That was not the Blood Moon in the sky, but Shade's eye. Giant Shade, taller and larger than it, lowered his head and looked down upon him from on high.
Iluna stood atop his head, holding up the Dark Gold Scales to suppress Flesh City's power and strengthen Clock Tower Lovers. Butterfly-winged Dorothy flew by Shade's ear, doing everything possible to merge Shade's Mystic Lock with this world. Owl perched on Shade's right shoulder. Flora was nearly unable to fly any longer.
Thus, Shade became part of the "world." Guided by him, Daniste's power turned his
