"Fate is a double-edged sword. Many seers in the First Epoch understood this principle, but knowing it did not mean truly understanding it.
"But Inconstant Fate means that anything is possible. If you wish to deal with Mr. Snake by having a single individual resonate with multiple rings, then you may seek possibilities that no one has ever discovered. For instance, perhaps there is a unique fate that allows its bearer to borrow the fate of others. After all, no one knows what magnificent stories will yet appear upon the stage."
Lady White said this, then the Snake Head turned slightly to the right, looked towards somewhere far away that neither Shade nor Iluna could see:
"Pollution has appeared on the Snow Mountain again. Let this meeting end here. You may ask one final question.
"Our next meeting may be a long time away. Before the Seventh Act, it would be best if I did not appear so frequently. Now that Mr. Snake's power has spread beyond the Temple, I must guard against it as well. I do not wish to emphasize my own importance, but I absolutely cannot allow anything to happen to me."
"You ask."
Iluna yielded the opportunity to Shade, but Shade pressed a hand to her shoulder and looked up at the White Snake.
"Lady White, you possess the ability to see through fate, just as I do, and you see far more than I can. Then please take a look at whether Iluna's fate has anything unique about it. I do not mean the Ring of Fate she possesses, nor her identity as a Chosen One. I mean whether, as the individual Iluna Beias herself, there is anything special about her fate."
The Snake Eye then turned to Iluna. Iluna felt somewhat embarrassed, but she
